Larva Labs - Intelligent Home Screen

I tried it out for a little bit but was not to impressed. I probably didnt give it a fair shake though. I am so use to flipping through multiple screens that having just this one page (although several filters and options) did not suit me well. Someone that uses their device for heavy appointments, emails and other BB type things may like it more than me.

P.S. I am willing to reload it if there are certain questions....

Its actually up to Release Candidate 1 (RC1). I've been using it for two weeks and its growing on me. Theyve been doing great with user suggestions and comments for features etc. One thing I don't like is google reader, twitter integration. I don't use them and at least one needs to be active. I'll leave it at that. I have heard that there will be two versions upon release in the market: A free ad supported version and a Pro paid version w/o ads and maybe some more features. Not clear on that last point. It can be run as an app or as a home screen replacement.

Its a neat concept...

To me, personally, getting something like this on your Droid totally defeats the purpose of having such a powerful beautifully executed smartphone all together. This would completely strip the masterpiece down to something a "dumb" phone could pull off. I gotta say I was very dissapointed in this...

You can disable both in settings. It is an interesting concept but I don't think the majority will go with it. I use k-9 for my email and I don't have an option to use it with mail. Only gmail is setup. To much freedom with multiple screens for me to move to a slide screen like this. No doubt that many will use it though.

Its on the market for download now. There is a free version. You can use it as a home replacement or as an app. I just downloaded it and it seems like it'll be better used an app IMO.
