@ggrant3876 I hope you're feeling better today. My husband has had sciatica thru the years and it usually hangs around for a while[emoji3064] Everyone else, hope you had a good end of summer long weekend. It's our turn in New England to be hot and humid this week. Like a sauna out there today. Keep cool out there in Forum Land. @bkdodger enjoy your end of summer vacation [emoji274][emoji274][emoji2]

@ggrant3876 I hope your doctor can find something that can help you. At various times, my husband tried PT, warm/cool treatments, steroid/lidocaine shots into the area and pain pills. Different things worked, some didn't. I hope therapy has improved since his first episode when we moved into the house we're in 39 years ago. This was triggered by a fall in the shower during an early morning power failure at the hotel here right before our closing. What a nightmare! And no doctor that we knew here yet. I remember he struggled thru closing and went to the ER from there. We actually moved in the next day. I think if we knew that this would have recurred thru the years, we would have looked into a lawsuit because there were no emergency lights in the room that automatically go on in power failures. No mat in the shower stall. Going forward, we always traveled with a good flashlight every time we spent time over night away from home. Lessons learned...

Had it in the past and physical therapy worked. I have stage 4 kidney disease and can't use nsaids. Am using ice packs and heat, cold seems to give relief for 30 minutes. Was doing my physical therapy stretches until Sunday when I couldn't get down on the ground. Really hoping I can get something that will allow me to sleep more than 3 to 4 hours a day. Thought it would run its course but see a Doctor as 12:30 today

@ggrant3876 prayers for you to find something that you are able to take or do that will help you sleep[emoji120][emoji120]. Lack of sleep makes nothing feel better[emoji3064] I feel bad for you because I know how much my husband said it hurt. He could not even sit.. That made it much worse... And he got the episodes in the era where they gave you pain meds if you needed them. The pendulum has swung too far the other way. Even after really complicated and painful knee surgery recently, my friend's boyfriend was given only couple of days pain med and was told to take it every 12 hours(the drug only lasts every 4-6 hours for relief so he never had relief really). He had to choose which 12 hours of the day he wanted to be in agony and the other 12 hours the pill was always playing catch-up with the pain. Not a good thing. I hope your doctor took care of you today and have you something (not just Tylenol)[emoji257][emoji257]

I got a muscle relaxer but after googling it I can't take it with kidney disease, didn't find out until after closed so sent them a message. Hope to get something I can use tomorrow. I can tough out the days but the nights seems they never end. Ice packs until tomorrow, mine hurts the most in my right calf when sitting, standing and laying down. Oh well, such is life!

Blaze a few!

You can probably find some gummies...
