BBQ last night, getting our 1/2 side of beef tomorrow! More BBQ to follow...
Have a 20lb prime brisket I need to slow cook still in the freezer... Anybody have an awesome Brisket cooking technique/recipes etc? Never done brisket before...

Hope ya took it out and let it rest awhile out before preparing..I've never made one but a little wine to soak it then season would probably be my way to go

Brisket is long and slow, about 250 for 8-10 hours either in the oven or on the smoker. If you don't have a pellet grill maintaining 250 for that long will be hard. We just rub both side with salt and pepper and let it go. In the oven we do the same but with a layer of onions on the bottom and addition of liquid smoke. Good luck with it, my Mom and Dad used to have their brisket put in the hamburger until we cooked one for them.

Have a good Labor day friends.. The end of the summer officially. Pools closing, beaches are too in some spots. High season is done at Cape Cod after this week. I've had enough heat this summer FTW and I'm ready for the pumpkins and Christmas lights at Walmarts to begin[emoji2957][emoji12][emoji172][emoji3590] Snow tires go on soon lol and my second cataract gets done on Wednesday and I become the Bionic Woman[emoji2539][emoji2539](partially) No more glasses/contacts, I hope[emoji1696][emoji1696]
