Well I actually did give them away, to my uncle, he didn't have a good relationship with my grandmother, thus why I got the booty, but figured he'd want it since I wasn't a dark spirits drinker. He's probably got a bit left, there were 40+ bottles, all A++ grade...
My Weber is only 3 years old but it has at least 300-400 uses. Love the porcelain cooking grates. They don't bend, rust, anything. I've had it at 600 degrees for an hour and the grill didn't do anything.
They used to have porcelain coated everything but the wheels. Back in the 90s it was an event to even try to move the darn things because they were so heavy. I forgot I'd left mine cleaning one time when using a heavy foil on the grates cleaning method and it got so hot it scorched the lid both inside and out, taking it from being a red genesis to a black one. It still lasted about another 8 years of literally everyday use. When the burners finally wore out I switched to a Smoky Joe when not cooking on an open fire and have stuck with those methods since.
