Bananas are fine, by themselves, not in anything, except maybe cottage cheese, or flavoring anything, that's my issue with them.

Now I get it... That's me too... I'm a purist with bananas.. just the way God made em... Not mushed up or covered or bastardized in any way! Kindred spirit! Yay! Have a good night[emoji42]

You the same, they can't be too ripe either, Lil bit o green, no spots ;)

Precisely! When they start to freckle, my husband puts them in the fridge. They stay perfect inside, but that turns me off. I'm glad he will eat them so they don't get wasted.... But as far as I'm concerned, they're icky once they're refrigerated. All yellow, touch of green and they're heavenly!

If I buy them it's two or three, when green, then all in a weekend, sliced on cottage cheese with pineapple and strawberries, yep, that's a nice summer treat.

Yeah, those fruits go well! I just usually buy 5 or 6 -4 are green to ripen and 1-2 are yellow for the next day or so or if the grandkids are coming. They always say my fruit is pretty and yummy so I always keep the fruit bowl full for them in the summer. Winter fruit isn't so exciting... So then they look for cookies... Their parents yell at me about the sugar... But I'm a baker's daughter, it's in my genes! Grandma's job to give yummy treats[emoji39]
