Was hoping to hold out for the S8, but my S5 continues to die a slow death, so I broke down & ordered an S7 Edge yesterday. Supposed to arrive Monday...
While I look forward to a shiny new toy, I do not look forward to the weaker battery life. Fortunately it's only 45-60 min less SOT, so I'll manage.
Shiny new toy FTW! [emoji106]

I remember those days in the Bronx.. Waiting with my Dad for his turn the barber... he'd get a coffee at the" candy store" and I'd have an egg cream ( the best non alcoholic liquid in the world and the only way to get me to drink milk) great memories with dad ftw...PS do they still have candy stores in NY? They were corner luncheonettes with a counter and a griddle, newspaper track outside in front, big racks of 5¢ candy, now 65¢ and racks of comic books...

Just don't forget the jaw breakers in the pockets, ruins the pocket forever. And mom won't let you win for that.
That really happened to me..I love atomic fireballs and I popped one in my mouth on the way to an MD appt. My MD was ahead of schedule and I didn't want to waste it, so I put it in my jeans pocket( it still had the red coating intact). Of course I forgot about it by evening and I put the jeans In the wash and the red was all over some shirts. I couldn't believe the red spread out that far. Luckily, I noticed it before the dryer and another wash with spray fixed the mess... Memories! My kids used to do this leaving tissues in their pockets and that's a triple wash mess and if there are towels, it's permanent mess with the towels becoming dog towels after that( lol). Washday fun![emoji4][emoji16]

Aah, the good old candies. I can't even find Rocky Road candy bars anymore. Not a big sweets person but do like an occasional diversion. Butterscotch M&Ms was yesterdays vice, Mmmmm. If I wasn't so poor this week I'd be on a mission. Maybe I can afford this win?

This isn't candy but it's twice as addictive... Thin Oreos... And they have mint thin Oreos also if you like. I could eat a whole bag without noticing they are gone! My candy favorite other than fireballs is snickers fun size. I'll have to try those butterscotch m&ms, though.. I'll look for rocky road for you and if I find them you can pm your address and I'll mail them out. I thought I saw them at the truck stop near where I used to work. I'll be near there next week. They have all different candies.. Some from the South.. They have this plastic cone filled with cinnamon pralines that I never see anywhere else..mmm yummy![emoji41]
I just found Neccos at CVS next week... This is why you get fat when you retire.. You have the time to go on a mission.. Do you drive cross country or local?

Hardly ever leave a 10 mile radius. Road trips on the bike I might venture out 75 miles or so. All the rear end can take. You must try the shortbread Oreo's. To die for.
