Being self-employed It doesn't pay too well. Makes for a long day, allergies and 2 mangy feral cats that pester me all day long wanting affection.

You're a good cat "Daddy" to take care of them! And if they're looking for affection, they're not feral, they just live outside probably. Maybe they'll let you brush them in the spring and they won't look so mangy. In the winter, a heavier coat keeps them warm even if it's a little scraggly...
