I'm fortunate. I can eat like a total pig and my weight is always 214-218(can't quite remember it that was kilos or stones). Too bad the sweet stuff eludes my taste buds.

Just got back from looking. A 2007 KTM 525 with crank bearing noise, last of the carbed bikes. Figure with a rebuild I'd be into it for 4K. Then add to that my OCD and that figure would climb to about 6K. I have new tires mounted on new rims. New brakes, rotors, sprokets, chain, rebuilt front forks already for it. It has all the bling parts on it already, steering stabilizer w/remote on off. Being a PDS, my rebuilt shock won't work to well. Figure a nice project. Needs a fan on it though for our nice weather. lol. Was pining for a 450 sixdays but tossing a 12K bike down the side of a rock garden hill just doesn't add up to me. The sixdays is street legal here, wow.

Sounds like a good find that you're already setup for. Yes the SixDays are sweet, but I hear ya about taking that coin of off-road. I love fire roads and the stuff...but single-track on my GSA...not so much.

Sounds like a good find that you're already setup for. Yes the SixDays are sweet, but I hear ya about taking that coin of off-road. I love fire roads and the stuff...but single-track on my GSA...not so much.

Half my riding buddies are on BMW GSAs and the other half are dual sports. Like I always tell the Beemer guys, I cant own one because I cant afford the jacket. I've had one vacation in the last 20 years, Alaska, next time it will be on a bike.
