I know. In the past, my parents also filled the pillows with small sand. I don't know if it still be used or not. People would like to buy something rather than creating something by their own hands. When I was a child, the old would like to make some furniture, desks, benches, carrying poles, etc. They all made in bamboo, very creative and useful design. That's in the past, no longer here. .. Sigh...

Scenario 1; order on Saturday and pick up the following Saturday, wait time potentially 12 days. Scenario 2; Order on Wednesday and receive crappola next week, wait time 3-7 days. The LBS (Local Bike Store) doesn't carry anything for 26" 24 speed bikes, only 27.5" and 29" new stuff. I'm a small business and love supporting my local brick and mortars, within reason. If they have it I'll definitely spend my money there.

At least in your country the elderly are taken care of... Here they are put in nursing homes. My mom lived with us the last 30 years till she passed away.
