Sooo not happy! Spending the evening at an At&t store. Our account got hacked this afternoon and someone upgraded both our lines to new Iphone 7+ AND added two new lines with Iphone7+s. :-(

This happened with my Verizon account also. Verizon immediately blocked all our phones from making any calls, etc. I had to contact Verizon, give them all my "top secret" identifying info to verify I was the legitimate account owner, change my passwords, reactivate my phones, etc. What a pain!
Look....I am posting without quoting. We almost went a whole day. [emoji26]

We only found out because my wife's phone was only Emergency Call capable when she got out of work. I thought her SIM card went bad. While setting up a new SIM card for her the sales started looking at the account and asked, "did you upgrade to an Iphone today" ...umm no...closer examination showed the four 128GB Iphone7+'s all purchased on installment at a Maryland BestBuy on our AT&T account.

AT&T wiped out the charges and have blacklisted all of the IPhone's but we still have to file a police report and notify BestBuy corporate.

We found out the same way, except all our phones were shut down and I received an email stating that it appeared that our account was compromised with instructions to contact Verizon to resume service. Verizon also waived all charges and they took care of filing police reports, etc.
