Been running around SoCal all morning. Have all the stuff in me possession now, nobody can snipe me. Trying real hard to rain here, drizzle-couple of drops-drizzle repeat. So no naked gardening. Maybe I'll water the plastic plants naked. might be nap time.
Hahaha! Have fun doing that!

Nope. Just shot off another snide eMail to the LA Times. They put at least 6 live ads on their pages. I think it's a ploy to make everyone get a new faster computer and upgrade their internet connection to a terabyte per second. It's only a matter of time that companies figure out eAdvertising is a waste of money just as print advertising was. Look at all the failing companies; K-mart, Sears, JCP, Circuit City, etc. What did they all have in common, they spent fortunes on advertising in the Sunday papers every week. E is cheaper so it'll be a slower death. All the while google is getting fatter.

That stinks! Glad you emailed your feelings. It is sad about the stores that are going out. My husband does all his shopping over the net. I like to go see what I'm getting, and someone's gotta shop the stores. I used to hate the crowds. Now I'm happy as a lark with the stores being less packed.. Of course that doesn't do the stores any good. That's not a win for them, but maybe for me? [emoji211]️

Yeah, I like to put my grubby paws and fondle the things I buy. And I get them right now. Like the adapters for my wheels, I could have ordered them online and more than likely had them by Thurs. or Friday. Instead ordered them from the bike shop and will have them next Saturday. Saved a few bucks to boot. Anymore you have to shop the internet. And greed has taken over there too. The adapters are the typical thing I would normally purchase online, same manufacturer and all.

Unfortunately everyone's greedy to some extent. The internet should be cheaper because they don't have to build and maintain a store. They also don't have to have employees on the store floor, they can work from home with a phone line and a computer. and that's probably a wash when you consider they have to pay postage ( or they charge the customer the postage). I like to know that something I wear feels good to the touch... So many materials are rough and scratchy when you receive them in the mail. Feel cannot be adequately described and it's subjective. The only store I buy from online is LL Bean. Their policy is amazing. They take back returns... No reason... No time limit. We were in Maine about 15 years ago and my husband had on a light llbean jacket he had bought 10 years prior and he went into LL Bean to pick up another one because he loved the original one and it snagged on a branch. The salesperson told him to take the new one with him and charged him, but gave him a second one free to replace the old one. But they do much of their merchandizing on line. We just happened to be in town. They will survive because their service is 100%customer friendly!
