I actually set my app drawer to open slower because I like the effect so much.

I hate seeing dumb comments for the app. Such as a recent comment that said something like "More stars when I can customize the shortcuts"... so now the app gets a low rating added to it because someone doesn't pay enough attention. You can change it to an app, change the icons, make it the nexus dots, bookmark, contact, etc. How much more customizing can you really do to the shortcuts??

"Needs a link to the app to be inserted into the app drawer. Accidentally selected to make stock home screen default and now I can't relaunch it."

and they gave it TWO stars.

Maybe they need to learn how to use the operating system...

How many home replacements show up in the app list?

I know, its frustrating how easily some people give bad ratings without even looking for a solution.

At least there's enough 5-star ratings to offset these people

Hey Fede, I really appreciate everything you have done. Incredible work and I love it. Just wondering, cuz I have no idea if its even possible. But, is there anyway to have themes with launcherpro. Anybody else care to answer would be wonderful. I love having the abilities of launcherpro but I really want to have smoked glass widgets! Any help please?

The search widget is built into the launcher and I'm just using the stock one. I guess you could take the code from the launcher and make the widget into a separate widget with your theme. Or replace the images in LauncherPro's apk (though I'm not sure if that would allow you to update to future versions without having to uninstall first)

Ok, I'm not to tech-savvy and I'm using a mac so I don't know if that changes anything. I have replaced the apks and it did exactly that, basically eliminated any chance of getting updates from you, which is out of the question since you are freaking awesome at updating and making things better constantly. So how do I take the code and change it?

Oh, if you're not a dev I definitely don't recommend trying to make the widget into an external widget

Haha as I was asking that question, I was like I bet he thinks I am a dev. lol no problem man Ill try and work with some others to figure this out or ill jus wait until your next update and then do all the smoked glass stuff I can do. Thanks again!

Just wanted to say that i tried a few other apps and BY FAR this is the best launcher app I've had yet. Fast, clean, and customizable. Thank you to the devs of this awesome app!

For those who haven't figured it out, you can change the dock icons and apps by long pressing them. It will pop up a dialog asking you what you want to assign to that location. This is probably buried somewhere in the thread, but I couldn't find it.

Fede, any thoughts on screen capture? So far there is only one Home app that can do that and is HOME++.

Seriously, awesome app. Easily the best in the Market, and its completely changed the way this phone is. Can't say enough good things.


I do have a couple issues that I've been noticing with the recent update, and feel free to PM me if you need more details.

• Every once in a while, when I bring up the App Drawer, there is a gap for the Notification Bar that doesn't go away. Then, when I go back to the home screen, the gap stays with a hazed out line until I bring up and move away the bar itself.
• Also, every once in a while, the notification bar gets stuck when I try to expand it. There isn't anything I can do to unstick it, and have had to resort to battery pulls to reset the data.

Those are only 2 minor issues, but they can be quite annoying. Otherwise, this is an excellent home replacement, and I would not recommend anything else to anyone.
