Leaked Pics & Specs of the Motorola Droid 4 Surface

I will buy the D4 if it has 1gb of ram and all other specs are correct.

This definitely wont happen but lets dream for a sec...ok. Droid1 was a badass in its day so lets pay homage to it by releasing the D(4) with a quadcore(4)..get it? And off course an unlocked bootloader to boot(no pun intended lol)

Perhaps it's not the D4. Perhaps it's the Droid 3 LTE or HD. Last year they made the D2G right after the D2 and beefed up the specs bit. And maybe they'll have it ship with ICS.

Reboot is already built in!

If you zoom in to the picture you can clearly see (in the upper right corner if you turn the screen upright) that It Already says to hold the the power button and volume down button for up to 10 seconds to reboot the phone. Now if this has a 4.3 inch screen and the battery is strong, I may have to pass on the nexus.

No one even said this was close to release. You guys are overreacting. What do you expect will happen months after a phone is released? New phones don't generally get worse as time progresses....
 
hopefully they'll figure out how to fix the keyboard. i used to think the space bar not working was hardware related, but if you turn off auto cap/punt/correct it works much much much better. it'll still miss a press here and there, but it works more often than not, where before it rarely worked at all.

i really miss my auto punctuate and cap...

I'm still on my OG Droid and was thinking the Droid RAZR would be my upgrade until I saw the Droid 4. Verrrry tempting :)
 
With a fixed battery and 4G, no doubt there will be a lot of people carrying charging cords in their pockets. I swap my D3 battery out sometimes twice a day and I have full signal everywhere I'm at and a signal amplifier outside my office door.
 
Does the Droid 3 use the same battery as the Droid 1 and 2/2G? And if so, what do you think the likelihood is of being able to continue to use these batteries in the Droid 4?

The answer is 42.
