Leaving the M8

Wow. You all are making me feel old. This or a similar one was my first work-issued phone.

I can't find a photo of my first phone either, an old Nokia bag type phone but minus the bag. The first cellphone with a battery. Got a whopping 15 minutes of talk time, and could be plugged into the home phone jack to double as a corded home phone. That thing had capabilities that were unheard of, at the time in the U.S. , like caller id and short message service.
A tornado hit about half a mile from work,I couldn't get in touch with my family because all the land lines were down, traffic out of work wasn't happening so the next day I signed up with Verizon (actually called Sprint before selling out to Contel which was bought by GTE wireless which was assimilated into Verizon. Sprint got out of the portable phone industry for a while because they figured long distance calling cards would be a better future for profits lol)
