LG Ally release date announced, specs official

Kind of a let down, was hoping for the 1Ghz processor. Guess this puts the LG Ally in competition with the Devour and Eris:

This device is even lower spec than the MyTouch Slide. Both use three year old arm11 tech and both will not work with Flash when released.

Well, the LG Ally does have 2.1 -- so it is possible it could be upgraded to 2.2 as well.
