So, I got this installed last night and basically, I love it. The only thing I've seen that is an issue for me is my pre 5.6.890 update cell-standby battery drain issue is back. It's been unplugged for 2 hours now and i'm at 90% and Cell standby and WiFi are both at 26% when they used to be down around 6-8% before installing Liberty last night. Normally I would be around 95% about this time of the day.
I checked the radio version and it's the same but I'm reading that maybe the version and build numbers don't change from what was installed previously? Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Other than just telling me that Liberty .09 based on GB .596 and 3 is .602/.605, can somebody provides some feature differences between .9 and 3? I've been running .9 for a while (I donated to get it early), and although it reboots on me once an a while, I am happy with the ROM. Just trying to see if its worth the time to flash and upgrade.
It is faster, lighter and more. Whereas Liberty v0.9 has mostly Blur with some AOSP, Liberty 3 has more AOSP, such as the keyboard, notification bar and other tweaks.
The Customizer isn't in Liberty 3 yet, but since you're already on v0.9, the customizer is on your SD card, so you can just use it from there.
I was on .9 and thought it was fast, but 1.1 is just... wow. Looks like the major fix with 1.2 was auto-restore, and I needed to clear out some things anyhow, it all worked out!
I'm currently using GB 0.9 and would like to move to RC 1.2. Just to be certain that I'm doing this correctly I should SBF back to 602, take the OTA update to 605, run the one click root method to root and then use which bootstrap program to eventually get into CWM to flash Liberty 3 RC 1.2? I have the LG bootstrap and the droidx bootstrap apks, but do I need the droid3 one for this?
