Downloaded the donate version, as soon as I click to download liberty 2.0 it says download failed: permission denied. Did I miss something basic?? I'm on liberty 1.5, I tried uninstalling the old toolbox, uninstalling both tool boxes and reinstalling the donate. Someone please help!!!! lol :icon_eek::icon_eek:
Unistall all toolboxes seems to be the answer reboot then install the toolbox again and make sure in the toolbox you install clockwork then try again

I know thi sisn't Liberty problem but I suspect you may get a few of these. I'm boot looped due to needing to wipe data. However I can't boot to standard recovery as I got the first GB leak and even though I applied the patch, it seems like it still doesn't work. Boots to recovery, but error when try and format. Any way to fix the recovery?

Update: Looks like after wiping cache it then let me wipe the data. Was quite worried.

So you took it back when all that was needed was a sbf which most of us now how to do. Please tell us you had insurance and used that. For your the reason companies are locking bootloaders your warranty was void the second you rooted and then you made no attempt to fix it either.

Heck all you probably needed was a wipe data/factory reset lmao! Ignorance is only defined as someone to lazy to fix what they f'd up.

I didn't know about SBF at the time. Just so you know, I did do a wipe data/factory reset from the stock Android Recovery idiot. I did everything possible to fix it. Someone holds their self too highly. We all make mistakes.

I definitely won't get into a name calling match with you lol. But in a time where more and more manufacturers are starting to lock down there devices. Don't come here and expect sympathy for bricking your device and not ever trying to fix it. Instead you used and abused the system to get another one. Most of us here if we hard brick know where spending 600 to get a new phone. Those that don't get that shouldn't root there devices period. Rooting it and changing the stock software is certianly a void of warranty tos or not its a void of warranty tos just said that they can't stop you from doing it.

If we already have a copy of a theme on the SD card, like Natemz's redx can we use bootstrap and flash it, or is the rom manager a safer use?

No matter what it sounds like you need to sbf back to 2.3.340 so if you can get into clockwork use dx monster 2.3.340 update.zip if not do the old fashioned way rsdlite and the sbf file

Just my thought here but its probably better to use the rom manager method. Although they said 1.5 themes do work but if its in rom manager then probably the better safe then sorry method right!

Did you verify your donation went thru it sounds like it might not have but you should probably pm jrummy and ask him to look into this as this seems like something no one else is experiencing. Just my opinion bud.

just to verify the download time to expect.

..my screen has been sitting on Creating Rom list for 25 mins.
Should I
A) Be patient, not much longer now.
B) Go grab a Captain N Coke..there is an issue
C) all of the above.

It went through, On my credit card statement I can see the 5 dollar donation, the refund from uninstalling and the charge for downloading again... I'll hafta see what Team Liberty says about my issue... I always seem to be the guy who has the issue no one else has...lol
