Liberty ROM - v. 2.0

Was the ROM taken off of the server? When I try to install from the donate toolbox, the download fails, and the response is, Error: No such file or directory. I've waited a couple hours and tried again, assuming that a new version was in the works.

Anyone know how to change the color of the swype keyboard? I just installed Liberty 2.0, Mysterious Beast theme, but the swype keyboard is red! Unreadable red ... :)

How do I change it??

Thanks,

2.0.1 is out. Links were tweeted. We'll be updating front post shortly. Please post any and all issues is the bug reports thread.

Liberty Boot Animation

Hey guys. So I have been playing around with the liberty toolbox and finally felt outgoing. I installed a custom boot animation using the toolbox, but I can't for the life of me get the sound to work. Is there a specific place/name I have to put the file for it to work with the liberty rom. PLEASE HELP.....noob down lol :)

To get the sound to actually work, I had to make the following modifications:

Modifying the build.prop will only give you a sound at the end of the
bootanimation.

I have been able to get bootanimations to play on my droid x with sound.
I took the following steps to enable this. I used root explorer to move the files.

1. Download the attached file. Bootanimationfile
2. Unzip the file and save the file to your sdcard. The file is labeled bootanimation.
3. Use root explorer and go to the folder /system/bin.
4. In that folder locate the file named bootanimation and save it as bootanimation2
5. move the file that you just renamed to your sdcard
6. move the new file that you downloaded and placed on your sdcard to the folder /system/bin
7. simple as that.

You will need to make sure that what ever audio file that is assigned to your bootanimation is
saved in the folder /system/media

In regards to 2.0.1, the pulldown still says 1.5, spare parts force closes, busy box is missing (at least titaniumbackup) thinks it is. There is no toolbox built-in anymore....
So far, the only positive thing I've noticed is 200mb free on average and a rockin' lockscreen.

I downloaded donated Liberty. And I am getting stuck at Liberty boot loop logo. I did a wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache. Is there something Im doing wrong?
Thanks

2.01 broke my swype and screen auto rotate (the screen stays portrait mode even when rotated)

Did you try 2.0.1 with a data wipe? It shouldn't be necessary, but would be great to see if you can duplicate the issue.

Wiped system, data, cache, dalvik cache.
installed 2.0, then settings fix, then 2.01.

Same issue.

Rebooted to cement and wiped data and cache again. Still same issue

i enjoyed liberty 2.0 and Lib 2.0.1 broke it for me so i SBF'D and went back to Gingerbread...as far as i'm concerned this version of liberty is more 1.75 but that ain't Team Lib's fault...timing was awful and i'm just waiting for Liberty GB now....i still donated for the toolbox but i'm just gonna wait till they get GB out and they work out all the bugs...anyway let me know if you guys think this is the right path to stick with or do you think i should go back to lib?

Oops cements = clockwork recovery

Which, btw, 2.01 isn't booting to. I have to install cwm off the market and use that. I can try sbf straight to install but I'm not sure it'll make a difference, just sbf'd yesterday
