Uninstall and install the Liberty toolbox. Apply the proper patch (dx or d2). Then download the 2.0 build ans reinstall without the wipe. All will run perfect.

Anyone have link to toolbox it isn't on jrummys site anymore

Swyped from the best phone in verizon's line up

They said to goto the Market and download it. They said download either the free or the donate version. They are both the same. They said if you download the donate version you might get somethings before non-donate version users.

Edt..
My problem with liberty settings and boot logo are fixed. . I had to wipe and reinstall they all work good now! I guess the phone just hiccupped ?

I may be missing something somewhere but it sure would be nice to see a changelog somewhere?
-I purchased the toolbox and downloaded 2.0
-Installed the "settings force close fix"
-Now there is a Liberty v. 2.01 patch which would not install
-Droid X patch as well
-2.01 full rom

I installed the 2.01 full rom over 2.0 and it seemed to take fine, Do I still have to install the Droid X patch or is that part of 2.01?

(same post as in the "bugs thread" sorry for the duplicate but I am not sure where it should be posted)

If you downloaded the 2.0 then all you had to do was DL the v2.0.1 patch and the Droid X patch. The full rom was only for those who were still running 1.5 and wanted to jump straight to 2.0.1. It seems you are running fine on it now.

Thanks for the reply. I tried the 201 patch and it would not take so I ran 201 over 2.0 and if seems fine. I need the DX patch as well? What does it do.

Thanks

The patch was only for those who had installed the 2.0.1 update earlier in the day. It had errors and things that were messing up or some bugs to speak. If you flashed the full rom then you should be ok without it.

Rooted Droid 2 running Liberty 1.5 and loving life. I donated for a beer but not for toolbox. Going to donate, says toolbox will install 2.0.1. Will it back everything up on its own or what? Not really sure how it is supposed to go. What do I need to do before donating for the new toolbox and letting it install? Thanks in advance, keep up the good work.

Donate for the toolbox in the market (do a market search for liberty toolbox) and install. The toolbox will then have all your options. You can download the rom from there and install.
