Liberty ROM - v. 2.0

Liberty is running sweet! Thanks guys! Only issue I'm having (and I went through this ENTIRE thread) is with themes. I was trying for the GB Black/Blue but LTB keeps force closing on the Theme Install. I was able to install the Liberty Force Close patch from there so for now, it just seems to be the themes.. no biggie.. the stock theme rocks! LOVE my phone again!

I had the same issue with the blue/black gb and the only way I got it to install was to boot into recovery and install myself as if u were installing a custom rom yourself except you don't have to wipe or clear cache

Change the DPI back to default or make yourself new images to go with the increased resolution.

I didn't adjust the dpi but I'll reset it to default. In the toolbox I assume?

yep, resetting lcd density fixed it. What does lcd density do?

It 'increases' the amount of pixels on your device. In this case, it just makes everything look smaller to fake the effect.

this is the best rom ive ever flashed on my phone. As of right now i have one tiny issue though. Speed dial. ive been looking around the web and i see other posts like this (i also saw a post that linked an app) but i was wondering how come there is no built in speed dial to the actual phone dialer and if the devs plan to implement it or if it is even possible to implement it.
Again, no criticism because i love this rom and this is definitely not a big enough issue to change roms but i was just wondering.

What's the best way of upgrading from 2.0 to 2.0.1? Should I just wipe and flash the whole 2.0.1 ROM? Or should I just flash the 2.0.1 patch then the Droid X patch?

if you're on 2.0, you don't need to wipe. 2 options, install the 2.01 patch, or install the 2.0.1 ROM over the top of 2.0. And the Droid X patch is only needed if you downloaded the rom on April 7, otherwise, it's not needed. Make sure to grab a fresh download out of rom manager.

Liberty is awesome and v2.0 is no exception.

swype fc - fixed by opening app/swype.apk
voice fc - fixed by opening app/VoiceSearch.apk

This is from the early release donate version.

I have voice search fc on 2.0.1.
What do you mean "opening"? What app did you use to access and open VoiceSearch.apk?

Does anyone know if the GB themes will be ported over 2.0 to where it has the new lockscreen icons and everything? because i would really like the gingerbread blue theme with all the new 2.0 icons and lockscreen

I need to know! Why isn't my browser acting like I have flash player I'm on liberty 2.0.1 using Oreo slice and I can't do as much as my gf who's phone isn't rooted we have the same apps as far as flash player...like for example she can see the full site on stub hub and I can't lol
