Why wouldn't the Rom people include the new radio file in the build?

The radio has to be loaded in seperate. Rom then radio.
Any gingerbread rom after this won't require a radio update.

I think he is saying install the rom first. I know that when I rooted..I installed the radio first.

If you have rooted..then you should know how to flash a radio.

download radio ([RADIO] The Obligatory Thunderbolt Radio Thread - xda-developers)

place on /sdcard as PG05IMG.zip

power down phone. While holding the volume down (I think, idk i use adb instead) power the phone on.

This will put you in hboot

then install the update via hboot. Let it finish running..then reboot. Connect phone to pc as disk drive. Delete the PG05IMG.zip from your sd card.

Then flash your rom.

Netflix works on GB ROMS. I couldn't get it to work on 2.1

I completely wiped everything, rebooted and installed the radio and then rebooted again and installed the ROM. Absolutely no problems now.

I can't get USB mass storage to work on this for the life of me, does it work for anyone? I did see a post on another site saying all the GB roms have this issue, just wondering if that's true.

Cool, I can live with that, you can always mount in clockwork recovery. Its a pain, but no big deal. This ROM is awesome anyway

i flashed the radio, wiped, and installed. no worky. signal bars are red, i got military time, and no lock screen. Will wait for new radio to be posted

I flashed rom then new radio and I am only getting 1x. I wiped before and after I flashed, tried flash radio again and rom again several times still only 1x. I am stuck. any help is appreciated. and my market does not want to cooperate, sayd network error.
