Well I am not doing anything special here but syncing up the source and running a build. So if hashcode pushes the new commits anyone can run up a build. All of the omap4 devices are using the same kexec kernel.

If I knew how to run a build, I would. But my understanding of android development quickly tapers off when we start talking about making builds.

Try reading this: COMPILE From Source For Any Phone On Linux Distros [BUILD ENVIRONMENT TO COMPILE] - xda-developers I suggest that you dual boot windows or if you have/buy a second harddrive then make one for linux. Using a vm is just too slow. Do 64 bit install only and when you get to part two don't load the cm repo but use liquid from here: https://github.com/LiquidSmooth/android and you need the local add on mainfest from here: https://github.com/LiquidSmooth/android_device_motorola_omap4-common/blob/jb2/kernel_manifest.xml

Totally appreciate your work. But Hashcode just posted a new CM10.1 build about half an hour ago that includes rotation fix, speaker phone fix, and GPS fix. Think you could run another?

is rotation working for anyone? I've tried both Liquid-JB-v2.3.1-OFFICIAL-maserati.zip from jsnweitzel and Liquid-JB-NIGHTLY-May-08-2013-03.11.42-Maserati.zip, and neither one gives me working rotation on my droid 4...

interesting. doesn't work for me. tried wiping the slot and re-installing. tried turning auto-rotate off and on. are you using the nova launcher? my phone says kernel version

Same build as yours, and I am also running Nova launcher. Nova doesn't rotate, and I assumed it was some setting that needed modified but I didn't look too hard as I don't intend to have a rotating launcher, but I went into my messaging app and sure enough got it into landscape mode without opening the keyboard.

Hah! that was it. nova wasn't set to auto-rotate by default. that can be changed in 'nova settings', 'look and feel'. and auto-rotate has to be on in the phone settings, too. thanks!
