Try the battery pull, then rebooting but hold down the home button and the power button that should bring you to the picture of the droid and exclamation point press the search button and that should boot you in to recovery. And reboot from there.

Tried that takes me to 30.04 boot loader screen
also get errors A5,70,00,00,2F
below that.
if i just try to boot up it just sticks at the red eye and droid screen

this is now open to the public and no longer in beta stage.

mrmooney excluded I've had no one else have trouble flashing the file. sorry to hear it didn't work for you moon. I'd recommend going over to my sbf thread and seeing if you can get the sbf to flash with the linux tool sbf_flash.

besides, I'm handing out this file like hot cakes anyway - my inbox can't keep up with it.

Some people have seemed to have trouble flashing the file - I believe this is due to botched downloads as I'm using free servers that are struggling with the size of the file.

Therefore, before attempting a flash, please review the file size properties.

For your reference:

Size - 284 MB (298,481,286 bytes)
Size on Disk - 284 MB (298,483,712 bytes)

If they don't match, re-download.

I'll edit the OP to reflect this as well.

My file sizes match, so I'll assume it's correct and going to go and flash it as soon as it copies to my sdcard. Here's the hashes for what I downloaded:

SHA-1: 90ED2455E420E101D6BB9F8242A944569DEEFFF3
MD5: 70839D5713F61F8766AB886F59ACF19D

Can anyone else confirm?

that md5 is correct. good idea. I'll add that to OP
I was just going to post that they must be right because I just successfully got back to stock without any errors.

The SHA-1 is also correct, if you want I can also post the SHA-256 *lol* Also could post various others, but MD5, SHA-1 and SHA-256 are the only ones I generate by default.

And now I can go back in to work tomorrow and not have a brick! :) Which is a good thing since I just got the phone on Tuesday... Forced myself to go in for a half day before going out sick for the past two days, just had to get my phone. :D And now I also learned to make sure not to delete the folder with the nandroid backups... *lol*

Thanks for the help guys, Boy was my wife pissed when i told her i might have screwed it up good. She always gets mad when i tinker with it lol. I was sweating bullets there ive done plenty of rom installs with this and my old htc hero with no problems guess its good to learn this though.
