Magisk has been detected by Google Wallet and Office Portal.

Hello everyone,

I'm not an expert in using Magisk. I follow online guides and once everything is set up, I just go about my daily activities without much thought. I root my phone to record my calls, which is a feature Google removed even though it's completely legal here in Canada.

Last week, my work apps stopped working because Microsoft Company Portal detected my root. Yesterday, Google Wallet updated automatically and informed me that I can no longer use the app for payments due to root detection.

It seems like not many people on this forum or on YouTube channels discussing root have this issue, so I might have made a mistake somewhere. Maybe I updated Magisk when I shouldn't have? Can anyone suggest a solution? I've heard about alternative Magisk versions like Delta that might solve this problem.

I've thoroughly checked the deny list, and all apps are fully denied (full blue bar) except for the phone recorder, AdAway, and Vanced Manager.

For reference, here are some technical details:

  • Device: Pixel 6
  • Magisk version: f42c089b (25102)
  • Zygisk: YES
  • Ramdisk: YES
  • App version: f42c089b (25102) (33)
  • App installed version: f42c089b (25102)
  • App package: qj.aheekhlo.fl.g.hr
Do I need to uninstall Magisk and reinstall an older version that still had MagiskHide? Is that even possible, or should I stick to the latest version? Should I try uninstalling and reinstalling it? Are there any consequences if I do this?

Thank you for your time.
