I did the PC instructions you posted. However on one of the last steps. "Select the SU file and select yes." Yes is not an option! When i select the SU file it just goes deeper to meta or system/ theres no yes! Whats going on?!

Are you in the red colored clockwork recovery menu? You should have gotten there by unplugging phone, putting battery back in and then, holding power+volume up+volume down. You should have the update zip and su zip loose on your sdcard (not in any folder). Let me know if you are in blue or red recovery, you are almost there.

Also you should not be unzipping these zip files. They should stay compressed. Clockwork requires you to install the zip file still compressed.

Great! Now that you are rooted you can.....

- install custom roms, which are totally different custom operation systems (right now you have a modified stock rom)
- install kernels, which controls speed, sound quality, display quality, and many other things (you probably want to stay away from Voodoo Kernels for now until you get use to root Samsung Fascinate Development - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum
- Make backups of your entire system
- Install themes and modifications Fascinate Themes - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

***First thing you will want to do is to boot back into red recovery and make a backup of your system. Once that is done hit menu button softkey and select reboot system now

Some notes:

*Do not use rom manager app with fascinate.

*Never install a voodoo kernel over anything non-voodoo without properly removing lagfix. You must disable lagfix if you are on voodoo before you use Odin again if you need to also

*I also find the people over at Samsung Fascinate Forum and xda forums helpful in addition to here when I have questions myself.

Ok sweet thank you. So say I have evil fascination installed and applied. Can I get a faster kernal along with the theme? Whats the best kernal out there? I want to speed things up a lot!

Also, in the video I posted, when the guy switches screens, the screen like flips. It doesnt just slide left and right you know? To do that, would that be the launcher, the theme, or the rom?! How can I do custom stuff like that?

No, speed is from the kernal but as they've said each phone will react different then others. I of course use the OTB Reloaded 1.2 it works well for me. And also battery depends on how much you use your phone.
