Manually did GB

I just did a factory reset and it worked perfectly! I would love to get it rooted though...obviously Z4root isn't working for me...any advice?

If i'm not mistaken, there's a separate GB file that is for rooting. Seems like the one u download isn't for rooting and that's y it won't let z4root run.
 
I did the manual zip file of the Verizon update. I don't think there is root for that

It can be found in the /system/app folder. Just to make sure, you should probably make a nandroid backup first


Also have same issue but can not find BlurContactsSync.apk HELP!!!!!
 
You have have access to system files. Download adao from market then goto system folder, then app folder. Once you locate the file blurcontactsync long press to get to rename option.
