Amazon may have slashed prices on their selection of 4G smartphones for the holiday weekend, but they aren’t done yet. Wait, does that mean brand new Verizon customers only? My contract is up and i'm running monthly right now, and if this is true i'd sign up for two years for a free 4G phone.

I'd love to jump on this deal. I have a D1, bought on release day (for 2 year contract though ...)

Anyone know the best way to get my upgrade date moved up a little bit? old faithful is really starting show his age right now...

What is the differrnce from upgrade and new contract? I have a family line and two lines are ready for new phones. Is that an upgrade or what. Would the main line have to be done with their 2yrs.

Yea that would be an upgrade.. they give better discounts for brand new contracts. Im in the same situation, Im in a family plan and im eligible, but we wont get the free deal.. I know that blows, else Id do it. But my D1 broke 2 weeks ago, so asurion sent me a brand new Droid 2 Global.. But im still itching for a new phone!

Well that sucks because my Droid X has a black circle and lines at the bottom of screen and I took it in and they said it was physical damage; but I woke up to all this black spots on my screen.

i dont know...it says "with a new 2 year contract" but when you upgrade you are signing a new 2 year contract right?...i dont know if i want to use my upgrade on any of these phones anyways...*trying to wait*
