MattyP's .215 Leak Classroom

I am wondering about this myself since classes are starting up again. I have done the .215 patch, fdr, battery cycle. Now am probably going to root but want to know what to do after mainly for battery, but also just general better phone performance. I have read some of the other posts about what to do like MattyP's what he did to his phone (under clocking in-particular) and the list of okay stuff to freeze (links to these would be great since i forgot to bookmark them and can't track them down) but wondering what else to do. And is titanium backup really the only thing needed for these tasks.

Thanks

I use SetCPU to underclock ... I think it's a couple bucks in the Store. I use TB to backup all my apps, and to freeze apps. I think it's like 5 bucks, but worth every single penny.

removable disk (G) and the one click zip

You don't need to put anything on the SD card to root ... and make sure you fully extracted the one click root .zip file to a folder on your desktop, it won't work unless you fully extract it.

And make sure USB Debugging is enabled on your phone ... in GB go into Settings, then Applications, then Development and make sure the box is checked for USB Debugging.

Ok I have the zip file in my downloads window i have a winzip window with the files and when you tiold me to extract it it said it was going into c: drive and i cant find that one ! now i feel stupid
