Not on your PC ... on your phone. Menu Button > System Settings > Scroll down to Developer Options and check the box for "USB Debugging"

OK ... class is now in session. Hook your phone up to your PC with the USB cable and make sure your computer recognizes the phone. Then pull your notification bar down, and under "USB Connections" make sure it is set to "MTP Media Device" ... NOT USB Mass Storage!

Let me know when it's all set.

Look in your "Control Panel" on your PC and it should show in there ... if the phone is set to "MTP Media Device" it should show as "Droid Razr" or something similar.

Ok now you are going to root your phone...

Open the folder on your PC where you extracted the utility to ... then click on "DroidRazrUtility"

A window will open, and it will have yellow lettering, and it will say "Press any key to continue"... hit your spacebar on your keyboard.

Then a window will open with blue lettering, and a menu of choices. Let me know when you get to that menu screen with blue lettering.

Ok Option 2 is "Ice Cream Sandwich Root 4.0.4" ... all you have to do is press 2 on your PC and hit Enter.

Sit back and relax, your phone will reboot twice by itself while the utility does it's thing. Don't do anything until it is completely done, and don't unplug the phone from the PC.

Hit 2 and press enter ...
