Messaging Issues - DroidX

I have my mailboxes set up and mail is coming and going - no issues there. My issues are with notifications...

1- Sometimes I am not alerted to a new incoming message - it is in the box when I check it though.

2- I think I have al the alerts/vibrates set up for messaging but sometimes I see the message light blinking yet the phone never rang or vibrated.

3- Some e-mails do not come into the box until I actually check the box - when I check they come in.

I am probably missing something obvious so sorry in advance if I am!

I have the same problem with the text messaging at times. Not sure how to fix it, but im tired of calling verizon about all these issues. Now, since i updated to 2.2 , my text messages arrive out of order. sometimes new messages will come to the text inbox and i have to search for the new message because its not at the top of the list. I dont understand why they cant make something worth a sht..This is getting pretty old..Im on my 4th droidx. Im about to give up on verizon. And they still havent fixed the damn volume issue!
