Wow, that lack of video sucks.. it was probably my most anticipated app and my favorite app as an iPhone user. Since I never had 3G here with the iPhone I'm not exactly missing the feature, but hell since I do have a good 3G connection was sure as hell looking forward to it.

I sent an email to the customer support, doubt I'll get any real answer, but it's worth a shot.

I'd go with extra innings because of this, but my work schedule really requires me to watch games on the computer.

Ive been listening to blue jays/tigers for 2.5 innings now and not one interruption. Are you running something else using a bunch of data?

Yea..but on your iphone if you had say a text message or email and wanted to reply youd have to close the app. I hated that! And the live video was horrible anyway. And now they want you to pay extra for that. Not saying it wouldn't be nice but I am happy with this app so far.

nada, killed everything before running it. im running a half inning now without a a break in the signal. keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm listening to the Yankees v. Phillies game on my Motorola Droid as we speak. I noticed it was dropping out a bit but it would restart right away. I assume 3G connectivity and the actualy MLB network they run game day audio on are the causes for drop outs.

that said the last 20 minutes have been flawless. I was getting annoyed with restarting as well though so that makes me think it's their network.

I used to subscribe to mlb.tv and watch on my pc and I remember having to stop and start on occasion there as well.

It just stopped again. I noticed when I go to restart sometimes it will say "unable to connect" and then I just hit play a 2nd time and it finds it and starts up the broadcast.

The sound quality is equvalent to listening on a regular AM radio in my opinion. It's fine and sounds good.

Ya that sucks. Are you in the NY area? Maybe if enough people with the app ring in we can figure it out. Im still without interrupt.

Also, just me or is anyone else super stoked to see that little mlb icon in the taskbar? haha
