Not what i was noticing. My sound was cutting out during the actual game

Mine was as well. The commercial thing was just in addition. For instance this is the second time an inning has ended and it's gone silent during the Cubs game.

Question since we are both using the app right now as we speak, are you able to connect to the Oakland broadcast of the Cubs v. Oakland game? It doesn't allow me. It says initializing and then just fails over and over.

The Cubs broadcast came back after commercials, for some reason wgn radio must silent their commercials or something.

Just so i'm clear though I do get regular cut outs during live action but I have noticed silence when they go to commercial and then it comes back automatically on it's own. Sometimes you hear a few seconds of the commercials but they do appear to be muting them or something on some channels.

Listening to the Brewers right now. Working real well. No sound between innings though, which takes a little getting used to. Got a phone call and the audio got paused and came back on when I hung up! Cool.

This cubs game is near impossible to listen to. I'm about to give up on it. I hope the Sox game isn't like this.

I'm losing interest in this app. Not 100% but it shouldn't be this unreliable. Since the last time I posted I have had to restart 3 times.

I found it very hard to actual click on the Cubs game, but I did it anyway for you. I have the same issue on the Oakland broadcast. Maybe they are not broadcasting.

Thanks for verifying Dylan. I'm a white sox fan which is why i wanted the oakland broadcast as well lol.

I have another e-mail into customer service. I explained there were tons of us all having the same issues and ready to demand refunds unless there are some sort of service improvements. I gave them many specifics. I will post any replies I get from them. I sent one earlier as well asking about adding live video feeds of games.

I emailed them as well throught he app itself about dropping audio. Maybe we should all refund until they come up with a new version>?

I am in the middle of a big steel office building full of electrical interference. Im lucky to get 1 bar of 3g that alternates to 0 and 1 bar of 1x sometimes. I am able to listen to the Brewers game. It will pause every 5 min or so for a few seconds and then continue. I had to restart it once. Im guessing with a better signal it would be flawless. I love how I can choose or swap between both team's broadcast... slick. Im guessing you people with issues either have a poor signal or it'll be hammerd out for the regular season.

It's not your signal. It's happening to all of us. I listen to other streaming radio stations for hours without interuption in my office. I just can't decide if I will be able to enjoy this with it going out so much. It does restart but there has to be a fix. I agree we should all refund until they improve. I was going to wait until tomorrow to see if they reply to my e-mails and if not just cancel before the 24 hour deadline.

Man I thought it was my signal causing the feed for the Bankees Phillies game to cut out, after reading through this thread Im not so sure. I think I might get a refund here in a bit and see if the kinks get worked out and re-buy later.

I think this thread has been pretty useful. I'm guessing a good amount of people assumed it was signal but there is just no way. Each game I try cuts out intermittantly. The most common error I get is "unable to connect" but it instantly conects again after another press or two. I am sitting in the same chair in the same location for hours with full 3G connectivity but it randomly stops a lot even though the app says "playing". i then press stop and start again to get it going.

If you go into the mlb app. You can go to "tips/supprt" it says they are working on an update for the connectivity issue. They suggest trying to switch from 3g to wifi if that doesn't work switch from wifi to 3G and if that doesn't work send them an e-mail.

It also says in that section audio does indeed go out for commercials in some random markets and automatically comes back in after the commercials are over. I wish icould copy and paste it all but here is some more on the connectivity.

Your application may be holding an expired security key in memory. Try quitting the app by going to main menu, selecting More, and then selecting quit. If audio playback does not return when you reopen the application please contact customer service. An update will be released shortly to remove this issue.

Well at least they are aware and an update is on the way.

Switch from 3G to wifi? What if there is no wifi available, isnt that the point of a "mobile" app, so I dont have to use wifi?
