The DirecTV app works fantastic. It's actually easier to search for the shows on the Droid now than having to use the remote to look them up. And, within about 30 seconds I was able to set to record programming between the DirecTV application and the HD DVR.

This app is a great asset to any DirecTV subscribers with DVR's and bad memories . And it's quite a coup for the First Look to appear here at the same time it's released at DBSTalk. Kudos to Miami again!

I think you'll like it a lot. It's a must have if you are a directv sub for sure

Pretty cool app. I have it installed and used it. So much faster than using the remote on the slow hd-dvr I have. Not needing to be in front of my computer or use a crappy mobile site is also a winner.

Because to those who have Directv and can set dvr programs with their droid, this is pretty big news, apparently from those who use it, have stated that it's way faster and easier to use then the normal way of doing it.

I don't have DirectTV merely stating that is an awesome app. If had it, i would want it. Love how it's taken out of context.
