pip is a scam to get you use your mobile data seriously, I very seldom play videos on my mobile device.

It can be used in more apps than just You Tube; many other apps support PIP. Somehow we morphed it into only a You Tube discussion.

I just got the update notice.
If I update, what am I losing?
Notifications can't be customized.....and.
Should I FDR before or after the update?

Some people are able to customize Notifications and some cannot. My advice about FDR is always the same.....upgrade and see what happens. But if things start to behave strangely, backup data & factory reset. The fact that you asked means that you are aware that is may be necessary, so that won't be a major "surprise" if it comes to that. But factory resetting just for the heck of it, just because there is a new OS has never been part of my plans. I only do it if necessary. So far my Moto Z Play Droid is running good on 8.0; better than my Z Force is.

Everything installed and running fine.
Two questions
1-screensaver when charging/docked was clock. I turned off screensaver. Clock still appears? I turned off screensaver and restarted. Clock reappeared.
2- Before, I could go into storage--> internal--> cache, and delete the cache. Now, I don't see any cache to delete.
