MOTOROKR™ S305 Bluetooth® Stereo Headphones - $24 today only

About 16 pages ago I posted that I was upset because I had just ordered them a day before VZ offered them for $10 less... I guess now I'm ok with that because I've had them for a week.

My quick review: The functionality is awesome. They pair very quickly, probably quickly enough to turn them on and answer a call on them. The range on these blows everything else I've ever used out of the water. I've owned 4 previous bluetooths from Moto, Samsung, and Plantronics - all VERY highly rated by cnet and customer reviews. All those previous models had issues with static and could not receive a signal through my head. My phone had to be on the same side of my head as the headset for it to work. I couldn't even put the phone in my left pocket and the bluetooth on my right ear because the signal would be lost. Must be my fillings or something. Anyway, the S305's don't have any problem like that. I can go next door with my phone still at my house and get crystal clear signal.

For those complaining of the sound quality, these are NOT for audiophiles. No bluetooth headset will satisfy an audiophile. But the quality on them is quite good for 'normal use' and they get very loud. Your music will sound good. And the pause/play, FF/REW controls work flawlessly with the Droid.

Comfort is hit or miss probably depending on the shape of your ears. I wear glasses, and at first they were very uncomfortable. But I found out that if I don't let the headband rest on my neck (instead let it sit about an inch or two above it) that they are much more comfortable for me. Comfortable enough that I wear them about 6 hours a day while working. Battery life is very good, I can get through an entire work day without a problem.

If anyone has any specific questions about them, feel free to PM me. Overall I am highly satisfied and I think 90% of people who buy them would feel the same.

Pressure Verizon

Small Tip, I asked Verizon support about my order and why it hasn't shipped. Long story short I was able to talk to them in to playing lets make a deal. I forwarded the confirmation e-mail to them as proof. The rep gave me the Motorola s9 at regular price, but then gave me 50% of the cost back as a credit to my account. They should be here Monday. Yes it cost me about 20 dollars more, but got a nice set of headphones.

PLUS 1 on Range!

I walked into the package store from my car with them on and accidently left the Droid in its dock. It wasnt until I returned to my car, and reached into my pocket for the phone, that I realized it was in the car the entire time! The Pandora continued to play flawlessly.

how come I can't control the tracks via my headset? I'm using "music" that came stock with the droid.

side not, in call was really good as iIcalled somebody.

I ran into a slight problem with mine today and wondering if anyone has had the issue. Listening to Pandora for about 45 minutes and they just quit working - Droid said it was still paired, but no audio was coming out of them. I turned volume up/down on the headphones and I was hearing the beeps in the phones. Also turning up the volume on the Droid and the screen indicated it was playing through bluetooth.

Only way I could fix it was to re-pair the phones. Happened twice today.

I love these, I got mine last week and have been testing them out.
The sound and microphone quality is great and omg the range is outrageous, probably 30-40ft.
The only thing I don't really like about them is the way it hangs on your ear, but I still love them! It was a great buy.

Not ignoring those with problems, but I don't know how to solve them and haven't experienced them. Mine work very well with all audio programs.

I wanted to put this in about call quality. Up till now I've been using the wired headset that came with my wife's blackberry. It's stereo earbuds with a mic for answering calls. It was somewhat hands free... if I wanted someone to hear what I was saying I had to hold the mic in front of my mouth. Even then they had a lot of trouble understanding me. It either sounded like I was talking from another room or it sounded like the mic was in my mouth while talking. The first time my wife called while I was using the S305's, I was actually changing the diaper. Her comment to me was "How are you changing a diaper while holding the phone?" That's how clear I sounded. She was really surprised that I was wearing a headset. Mainly because she didn't know that I bought it :icon_ devil: but also because it sounded great on her end. And of course my end sounded great too. She is thrilled that I am done with the Blackberry headset. In some reviews people have said the call quality is mediocre... that isn't my experience at all. It is pretty much great, about as good as holding the phone to my cheek.

Good Review. I've made several call too and no conplaints from my end or theres. I'm 100% satisfied with the phone feature..Audio music quality is good too. Great actually, not good

I ran into another problem today with my headphones. Not sure if anyone else has seen this ? I have them connected (paired) and go to dial out with the phone. I hear the touch tones in the headphones, but then when the call is made, the call doesn't come through the headphones. Also the bluetooth button on the phone screen is not activated.

Never mind - figured it out...didn't realize I had to press the phone icon on the headset. DUH!
