Motorola Atrix Heading to Verizon Q4 2011

so, here's what it looks like for phones:

Feb: iPhone 4 (single core, 3g)
Feb/March: ThunderBolt (single core, 4g)
March: Atrix (on AT&T)
May/June: DX2 (dual core, 3g)
May/June: D3, Inc2 (maybe?? - dual core, 3g??)
June/July: Bionic (dual core, LTE)
Aug/Sep: ???????
Q4: Atrix (dual core, LTE)

i think i'm missing the LG Optimus 2x in there, but don't know if it's for VZW, or when it will be released.

side note... guess it doesn't matter about the annual upgrades being done away with since there's nothing id upgrade to until right around my 20th month anyway. lol

I doubt it being a maybe. I can't see vzw letting at&t be the only one now that the iphone is on vzw. verizon is already clearly shuffling the cards in their deck to cater to apple so I'm almost certain well see the iphone 5.

i agree with you. the "maybe" part had to do with whether VZW will get it the same time as AT&T (and only a few months after the iPhone 4 launch), or whether it won't come to vzw until after the first of the year.

but seeing the outline of phones, i'm still confused as to how the Bionic and Atrix fit together on the same network, so close in launch times...

Well Iphone is 2.11.11
Atrix is Feb. as well (as far as I know) it's the date that is escaping me right now, but I'll track it down shortly
Then the Xoom on the 17th (tab)
Here is where some will be pleased.... Thunderbolt is the 28th... Just outside of the return window for the Iphone buyers

Bionic is Early q2..maybe early april...
also in q2... DX2 (tegra 2 ) D3 and new incredible
Then Iphone5 in June (like Normal)
Now what I have left out is an "unnamed" Lg device is also coming with a 4.3" screen. Front Camera rear camera, Super Amoled screen and Snapdragon2 processor. It wasn't there but was spoken about!!

then q4 is the Atrix.. that's what I am certain of right now

I think Im just gonna suck it up and get the Thunderbolt. (Mainly because my brother and fiance have their 2 yr upgrade coming up in July, so I will steal their upgrade if something I want more comes out)

this is just making more complicated, isnt verizon suppose to get the bionic in q2 or 3, why get almost the same thing in q4?

At the rate new phones are being developed the ATRIX will be a relic by Q4 2011.

Exactly.....I like the Atrix but I'm not going to purchase it that late in the game. Doesn't make sense.
