They do need to stop these ridonkulous 2 day battery life claims.
Sure it'll go 2 days on a charge...if you don't touch it. At all.

I agree. I don't really care about 2 days l just wanted to take it off the charger at 6a and go until 10p if possible. My first two days was barely 13hrs. Yesterday was better. I would still like more sot though. I need to go through my apps again make sure I'm not missing something updating more then it should.

Yes sir indeed. I'll never 2 days unless I use it for only text/call and not open any other apps. Background apps still might not let me see 2 days. 24-36hrs is about the best I can see it getting

Is your phone struggling for signal? Looks like your phone radio is running a lot. That can drain battery off too. Killing out apps before locking the screen?

Yeah the area I live does not have great signal so I know I'm going to struggle with that. On shutting down apps. I do have a app called doze running which seems to help. Not sure of there is something better for that or not.

And if you game on your phone, you can kill it in no time.

Re: 'killing' apps. That's really not going to help much. As much as they would like us to think Android can multi task...it can. But it still really doesn't. All those apps in your recent list aren't really really running.

After the first week I've seen my battery life go up since its not updating random apps or running as many background processes. I think you will see 6am-10pm soon. Also try downloading an app called Greenify. I love it for killing background processes

I have used that app before. I deleted it when I was trying to figure out my battery drain . I will put it back on.

Gaming on my phone like clash of clans for example I can kill it in less than 2 hours as I am usually streaming to Chromecast and running Pandora while gaming.

I agree though killing apps doesn't help that much at all maybe less than 10% throughout the day.

I have the first Turbo. Waiting on the T2 to be delivered...
I use the Turbo charger almost every day.
Hate to be the one to tell you: if you actually use your phone you'll never see 36 hours. Not 24. Maybe 18. If you baby it.

18 would fine. I'm not trying for some crazy number. My brother has the first turbo and gets great battery life. We have been comparing stats. [emoji14]

I've heard several times the first Turbo was outdoing the T2's battery. Maybe after running it for a while and having everything up to date with nothing updating anymore will help. These T2's are still very young compared to the T1
