Motorola, Verizon announcing 'next generation of Droid' on June 23 - [Engadget]

has both droid x and droid 2 confirmed with 2.2 release? i think the droid x would be too big for my wife, although i think girls can carry bigger phones than guys since they don't put it in their pocket as much as we do. they have a purse for that. but wifey wants to see how the droid 2 is. she has the droid right now.

And one thing I dont like so far is it looks like the glass is extended all the way out to the edge of the phone.

They better pay attention to what just happened to the EVO and the screen lifting off.....

U notice that it looks like viewing the screen outside should be good.

And I remember Darkseider saying the Quadrant scores suggested it was running Froyo....

Look at the screen on the X....see the green Android with his hand up....look familiar...

Thats the tips wizard from Froyo....Folks running Froyo look in the app drawer.

Hmmmm.....someone has some explaining to do....

Heres is a screen shot of me on Froyo.....Home Screen Tips Widget

Im just saying.....

But that Froyo thing has me intrigued....Darkseider might have been right that the X was running Froyo.

Maybe the tests on quadrant were taken when the droid x still had android 2.1, who knows.

Either it ran Froyo at some point, or those of us running Froyo are running some bits of the new Blur....

Maybe a side by side will help u see what I'm talking about:

The multitouch keyboard on the Droid X looks great. Both of these phones need a front facing camera, and froyo (get rid of Blur!(or at least include the option to change to stock Android ))

And looking at the pics at Engadget, the glasss doesnt come all the way to the edge, its made like the Droid. Theres a thin borde around the glass.

Why would I doubt Motorola craftsmanship? lol
