No. You should wipe everything anyway. You can flash this from any ROM version. Your flashing from recovery anyway. :-D

Gingerbread. I dont have a D2, so I dont know why it would be bootlooping. Im having trouble with the Droid X version though....long night. Might not be up much longer. Need sleep. Work tomorrow.

You are boot looping because you need to install this on the same kernel as froyo just like you would for CM non GB.

It is still a GB ROM which is why he answered the way he did, not being used to the way D2 and DX owners use the term "based."

Ok..so this one has the toolbox? It booted up for me! The test did anyway..the boot ani will run for a minute..but seems this build is needing more work?
