Multiple everything!!

I've had a problem recently where I'll receive 3-4 duplicate texts just about every other text i receive and idk why. I'm using go SMS as my texting app and it hasn't always done it. It also did it a few times when I was using handscent as my text app so idk if it's the app or the phone. Also when I update a single app it will take forever to update and on my girlfriends phone she can update like 12 apps in a few minutes but it could take me an hour even more sometimes. And I think this is cuz it will update the same app 7 times and idk why. Any help on any of my questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm also getting multiple texts. My D1 did it occasionally and now my D2G does it most of the time. Im using handcent
