My problems.

The difference between Martin's answers and mine is that I tried to give complete answers (no knock against Martin) so that it was hopefully beneficial not only to you but to others that come and read it with similar questions.

I'm sorry that in doing so I injured you ego and offended you so.

Oh god....Y don't u just go somewhere.I don't need any more of this from you. :soapbox:

Sound like there could be some helpful hints here

I am a looooooong time blackberry user and have been on verizon forever so I was so excited and was at the store buying the droid the first day it came out. Have had some email sending issues I am working through. I am confident I will get my mail to send consistently very soon :)

What causes me the most frustration is not what i think to be a bug but a flawed design which is causing horrific user errors. Some days I just want to use this phone I love so much as a speed bump. (Same with my hubby some days )

Anyways, here is where i am hoping a few of you can maybe give me some suggestions or guidance.
1. When I am on a long speaker phone call I often can not end the call. The phone just wont react to anything I do, even if I hit the power button. I really hoped my days of pulling the battery out of my blackberry 10 times a day to reset were over.

2. When I am on a call up to my face. Here is where the real fun begins. I am busy multitasker, Just cant sit on the phone, chat and do nothing else. Because of this my phone moves around alot sometime I hold it with my shoulder and move to my hand and then back again over and over. I randomly mute or throw people on speaker ALL the time. At least I can fix these if the dial pad screen is showing, but sometimes the buttons do not react. I have to end the call and start again. The worst thing I have started doing all the time is conferencing/merging the call I am on with my voice mail. Once this occurs I have no idea how to successfully get out of it. I either drop the call or end up merging the two so my friend/client when on for business gets to listen to my voice mail message play in the background. . Time to end the call again. What a great impression this makes.

Sorry to ramble, just wanted to provide all the details. Any suggestions or help out there. I sure would appreciate it. I have to get this under control before publishing this number as my primary business number later this spring.

1. I don't personally know the solution but I did find a thread where people were having similar problems http://www.droidforums.net/forum/htc-droid-eris/8289-frozen-lock-screen.html

2. Here's another thread regarding hanging up one call while on a conference....and not having to hang up both http://www.droidforums.net/forum/te...uggestions/6890-conference-call-question.html

Hope these help!

I have been having the same issues while talking on my phone. The screen turns on I press buttons and the person on the other end can't hear me?? Its frustrating when talking I'm tempted to get a bluetooth headset or something so I can call without having to deal with pushing buttons on the screen. But I hate those things.... maybe there will be 2.1???
