Its a good choice. I might return this x if I like the Dinc HD better. I could not wait any longer though. The x was the best out there as of now.

Maybe i'll be able to do just that. No promise though.

I would hope so, otherwise, in theory, in 2.5 days we can just go to Verizon's website itself and just get the pics/specs ourselves.

If you call and order thru telesales they will bump your upgrade date up 30 days. That's how I got my X on Oct 15.

Even an ANNUAL upgrade? Which is already significantly earlier than the NE2?

Not sure about the annual upgrade. I do know that the annual upgrade on a 2yr contract is only good for the primary line. I have 3 lines and one of em was due Nov 15th but they'll bump it up 30 days if you order over the phone. If call em and ask about the annual upgrade to be sure.

I was gonna hold of until LTE devices.... but a year has been a long time with one device... I need a new toy.

hmmm so if i get a new phone once a year, should i do a one year contract or the two? I know some on this forum have said that they have gotten the two year price on a new phone half way through their two year contract. It would be cheaper, but i know how big red is greedy about giving out the upgrades. Decisions, decisions...

I have to agree. I'm supposed to get LTE by the end of the year (DC) but I think I'll just have to suck it up and buy this baby. I've had the LG Voyager for a long time...it's definitely time for a new toy.

Nah i just helped a gentleman with his new x here at my job. He saw mine and began asking questions. I did leave out who i was though and he even downloaded the DF app!! I'll be home soon i think. Lots to do here still

If you do the two year and you actually wait two years you get $100 off and promotional pricing. If you sign a two year and upgrade every year with primary line you get $50 plus promotional pricing. One year well that is self explanatory.

sweet, so if its a family account with two numbers then one year is the best if get a new phone once a year? You meant no early upgrades on anything except the primary line of a family account i think, which would rule out any motivation to go with the two year.

Same here I upgraded four days before my one year anniversary with my droid. Lol
I said before that if no definitive news was to be out by last Friday I would upgrade then but I could not wait any more. Too much anticipation for this phone. So I upgraded on wednesday. I can still return this phone if I so choose.
