Actually, it seems an "Eager Beaver" Employee in Verizon brought the info to you (unauthorized--not for the purpose of a "controlled" leak), not Verizon themselves which would be big difference.

Wait, the Merge is 4"? I could have sworn around 3.2" or so?
I wonder if the other specs will be similar to the DINC HD (RAM, Processor, etc). I would seriously consider that because I am torn about losing a physical keyboard. Although I had an LG Dare for a year and I was fine so who knows. I have hopes that the DINC HD specs will be substantially more than the Merge.

I thought 4" but i'll go dig up on it.... i haven't flowwed it at all since it's not a Droid..

3.8" and it should be the same processor and either 512mb or 768mb of ram. I knew I did all of this research for some reason!

here is what i see

so its close to 4" my mistake....3.7 on a slider with the keyboard. I love the Droid Incredible so I could use that one for sure...

No on the dual core...as far as I know

Froyo as far as what i have seen

I believe the Merge is Bing'ed up, sooo... that really is the deal breaker. Even though I have no problem with Bing itself, its just the principle that Verizon is forcing it on a GOOGLE phone.

And 3.7" is a good size. But in the world of the obsessed like us, 4" -4.3" is on a different level.

Yea BING is an issue for me.......it also makes it not a Droid ...

so everyone gets that..if a Android powerd device is gonna have Bing it won'tr be a Droid or under the Droid label
