Mysterious Device Now With November 23 Launch date

I work for a major electronics development company... I actually have a lot to add to this forum - and have really been, comically, enjoying this thread - and Miami's near Godlike status. It's all great and super entertaining. However, at the risk of getting this thread closed or myself banned I must, unmistakable, add:

The MODS on this forum have way too much power. It's really quite ridiculous.

i fail to see the point in closing a thread on something like this.. i mean last one got closed everyone just came to this one 5 min later and its the same people in here

Because when people get offensive and abusive, they WILL go away. It will happen each and every time, I can promise you that.

If you install Launcher Pro or ADW over Sense, will it install the normal app drawer as well? I do not like the single line Sense app drawer at all.

How about a temp ban on anyone violating the rules. Don't close the thread on the rest of us. No offense to anyone--because I don't actually see what is wrong compared to the last thread. How about just staying on topic (Dinc HD!) and everything will be ok? Please?

I got a dumb question lol.. Never owned a sense phone before and was curious, if you install a 3rd party home replacement like launcher pro then sense is not really being used right?

I know you can't use sense widgets but is it part of the os built in or just apart if the launcher itself?

It's all tied into the Launcher. I've actually started using Launcher Pro Plus and really like the change. Very refined appearance and a lot of customization. There are also a good many widgets available now that look like the Sense widgets. Give it a shot with the free. You might lock it. That, tied with Beautiful Widgets or Weather and Clock Toggle looks great.

That does happen, I personally just try to avoid it whenever possible. A lot of time when a thread is closed and a new one starts back, everyone stays aware of what and why something happened to the old one and act accordingly. I was just gently warning before it got out of hand. Matthew and Viper are both great sources of info and I think are just very enthusiastic about our phones and systems.

And why is it ridiculous? We have very specific rules about this site to keep it family friendly and as informative as possible. As such, we have a tendency to get information before many other sources because we don't allow a lot of screwing around. Further, is there a problem with asking people to behave like adults?

If you don't like our power or how we run the site, there are several other Android forums available to you. We won't be changing our rules anytime soon.

I like all of us here am very eager to know what is coming on this phone, and as such am very thankful to be able to learn what that is faster than the majority of the internet. droidforums rox!!! dancedroid

Ya I love launcher pro plus I have had it on my droid since it was first release I was just curious if I would gain any benifit using it with the new sense 2.5..

Ya I have converted many sense and blur ppl at my work to use launcher pro lol love it.. can't wait to use it on this device... EVO ran amazing with it.. 3 weeks from today guys

for those that were on earlier when i said my storm broke and i was on my way to go get the dinc. well that was around 3 oclock. since ive gotten the phone ive been absolutely glued to it up until now. sat in the mall parking lot for a good hour before my stomach told me i needed to get home and eat.

what an amazing difference coming from a storm. absolutely can not wait to return it and get the incHD .. feels great to finally enter the droid world

A friend of mine is in a very similar boat. He's stuck with his Storm 1 till at LEAST the 11th. I've convinced him to wait to see if this phone is more of a fit than the Inc or the D2.

Can you even get home replacements on a sense phone? My friend had one and they weren't available in the market
