Won't the phone run faster with stock Android?

Realistically though, when was the last time HTC released a phone without Sense? Plus, if you get it stock, you are going to install widgets like weather, clock, facebook and all that anyways.

Just saying. With EVERYTHING that is in rumor, there is ONE thing that is certain! This phone will NOT have stock 2.2.

Uhhh the G2 was just released a few weeks ago with stock Android.

Isn't the G2 basically stock Android? From what i read HTC barely messed with it.

I love Sense, especially the new Sense 2.5. It's so smooth and refined. It may delay Android updates, but it definitely makes everything seem more refined and fluid. I love it.

I also love Sense. The new Sense 2.5 looks even better. I think it is the best UI of all the Android phones.

Yeah... was playing with it on my uncles EVO and even though it doesn't have the latest version of Sense, it was still pretty darn smooth and fluid and I'm not gonna lie, I prefer it over the LOOK of stock Android, but I prefer the open-ness that comes with stock Android.

Has anyone heard what the Dolby mobile and SRS Surround sounds like on the HTC Desire HD?

engadget didn't sound too pleased with either..said they were both poor in different ways

there was talk earlier of a chat occurring today, keep in mind im not sure who is originating it but if you do create a chat please dont discuss anything that was in the last chat as we were asked not to.

i am only saying this because i think people are mistakenly thinking Miami will attend this chat and he never said he would nor that it was ok to create one to discuss what was discussed the other day.. so just keep that in mind fellas.. just making sure we wont be jeopardizing anything that could be coming our way soon..

With regard to that twitter message on Android Central. There was just an update saying with revisions the device will be expected March 2011.

this might not be that relevant but i work for metropcs and they just launched their 4G LTE yesterday and their feature phone for 4g network is the Samsung Craft and from what im being told the 4g sim cards are unique to the phone... meaning if a customer loses their 4g sim card the phone is no longer usable and becomes an expensive paper weight.. not sure if thats going to be the same deal with verizon
of course there might be ways for people to make duplicates some how in the future but as a metropcs employee if a customer loses thier sim card for whatever reason we have to tell them sorry theres nothing we can do

so maybe if the incHD really is 4g upgradable it would make sense that once you decide to pay for the plan verizon would give you 4g card needed to run off the LTE network.. that way people that want to pay for just the 3g network can stay without paying extra

my 2year ends in just 6 days so ill definitely be keeping in eye on this htc incHD

one thing i should of added is i dont know if the phone becomes useless entirely or if the phone would no longer get 4g service if a customer lost their sim card... its something i should probably know but will find out when i goto work tommorow

Well if Miami comes back and says this phone is delayed due to similar reasons that could be a near confirmation of LTE. But I'm thinking this is probably a different phone though. Miami seems pretty confident about his info.
