Yeah I agree that it doesn't really make a difference whether it's LTE or not. Mostly cause I'm not ready to pay extra for that service yet...but I'm still getting it no matter what

Just got off with a member from the HTC Support Hotline 866-449-8358 and he said he has never heard of the HTC Incredible HD and he even googled it so he could see what I was talking about and said that was the 1st he has ever heard of or seen the device. He said his supervisor may know more about it and put me on hold only to come back and say nope. He also said they usually get their hands on devices weeks to months in advance and so having some launch in 17 days does not seem realistic to him. I then asked about the Merge and he said the same thing about that device.....so I guess take it with a grain of salt. I can not wait for someone to say, "Oh the HTC Inc HD, that is a great phone and it is in our system and you can pre-order it today". The rep did say that it was a nice kickstand and looked like a nice looking phone from what he saw on Google. UGHHHHHHHHHHH

well look at it this way... this phone is obviously a secret and a big deal for verizon and many people that have insiders including BGR's original source said they have not heard anything about this phone..
verizon reps, htc reps claiming to of never seen it, well duh because those types of people would tell you about it if they knew so they kept the small frys out of it and made a select group sign very strict NDA's to keep control and a leak free environment for as long as possible. thats how all the leaks we see in the past emerge because they are distributed to a larger amount of testers.. not saying they dont sign NDA's but they cant watch a huge group as well as they can with a small one..
Miami said it will release this month from a very valid source so no one has any reason to doubt him this phone is obviously a big deal and more reason to get excited about.. yea sucks we dont get some of the leaks we are accustom to but its all for good reason
just my 2 cents, best i could come up with after reading and following this all for so long.. it would just make sense to me, if i didnt want something to get out i certainly wouldnt give it to every tester that normally gets to test every phone.. right?
give up and start looking for a new phone then man it will have one..
It really is unfortunate though. I really want a nice big screen device that can actually be moded. I would totaly pick up the evo but sprint in my area is HORRIBLE!!!

You can't blame a guy for dreaming.
To be honest, I want this phone to have Sense. I just thoroughly played with my uncle's EVO and it was amazing! Playing with his EVO only made me want this phone more, and this phone is going to be even faster with a faster CPU and a faster GPU than on the EVO! I can't wait!

Yea. Was just posted earlier here. Everyone claims that he's usually been right about these things. So now I'm skeptical whether this device is launching this year at all. Course it could also mean that the IncHD is "LTE upgradable".
