i am trying to download snes games from freeroms.com but when i do the screen goes to a bunch of code and never finishes. so how do i play snes games on my droid?

You might want to try downloading download crutch from the market first. Then try to download your roms. Hope this helps.

I can't find crutch on the market.

Must have been taken down. All it did was allow you to download files the phone sometimes would recognize. I have and download roms from oldcomputer.com all day on my droid. Maybe someone else knows another way. Sorry.

a friend has a Droid and showed me the Tecmo Bowl and several other Nintendo games..and I understand him to say that he dl'd an app that already has the games ready to go...no rom's necessary.

Help!!

So i do not have internet at home so i cant download them to my computer. I have been using my phone and downloaded like 8 different .zip files and NONE of them work...Can someone tell me what im doing wrong?

Maybe a dev can get the xbox 360 controller to work on the droid. Its what I use on my PC for a controller, uses usb. Its easy on the PC because both are microsoft, but there should be a way to get it working on the droid.

Hey guys I'm new just got my droid about a week ago love it but my problem is the emulators I down loaded snes an gensoid but when I dl some roms it don't work right I was reading pages but can someone give a detailed way of how to dl an install process? Greatly appreciated

do you have to be rooted to use this? i want those classic nes games on my droid.. so would i just download a rom and unzip and then load the game from my sd card from the emulator?? where can i get classic nes games?

Anyone know how to get an n64 emulator on their phone and do you need to get a BIOS.bin. I would appreciate the help.

Issue with NESDroid

Hey Everyone,
Newbie here, I have been doing some searching the last few days on this forum and I must say, this is a great source of info! I did search for this topic and couldn't really find anything, so here's the question I have, and sorry for posting this tech question in here, but I figured it was NESDroid related, I apologize for any mis-filing of my post.

Before I d/l the NESDroid from the market, I used to be able to preview .mp3 files from my gmail when they are attachments and also from a yahoo group that I am apart of. A few days later, I d/l NESDroid from the market and that all changed. Now my phone is trying to use NESDroid to preview .mp3 attachments and mp3's from the yahoo group. Originally it would just open in my Music. After getting "File not supported" errors, I decided to pull the plug and uninstall NESDroid.

I though that would have solved the issue and it would have gone back to normal, but instead, when I click on an mp3 attachment in gmail or a file on the yahoo groups, the d/l screen states that it is trying to d/l it with NESDroid, or the developers website (xa.yimg.com) and the error I get is "Cannot Download. The content is not supported on this phone"

I also tried this on the web and gave me the same error, and in the yahoo group, it tells me it is unable to play the stream when I click on a mp3 file.

Sorry this is so long, I was wondering is there a way to set the phone back to some sort of default before I d/l NESDroid, some sort of system restore? I don't really want to have to Hard Reset the phone, but am thinking this is a possibility
