[New!]D1-MIUI-1.2.11.0

Can't seem to change the lockscreen pic from a pic I d/l'ed from Zedge. Any ideas?

I went through this with someone on the irc last night. When you are selecting the program to select the lockscreen chhose miui gallery, the top one. I was able to load mine this way. If all else fails you can add your lockscreen image to the theme of your choice in the framework-res/res/drawable-hdpi folder named default_lock_wallpaper.jpeg.

Well, ain't that something? LOL That did it. Thanks!! Great job, btw!! I was a UD fan for a long time...even though UD 3.0 just came out, can't get myself to test it. ;)

Is anyone having trouble with Set CPU not working right? My phone keeps going up to 800 max everytime, even though I set it to 550 max before hand. The 550 max setting will only last as long as the screen stays on, once it goes dark and I press the power button to wake it, it's back to 800. Killing my battery. Other than that, it's working flawlessly, fast and smooth. Is there a 600 max kernel I can flash and not use Set CPU? That's all I can think of to keep my battery lasting longer.

I am having an issue updating IP Cam viewer. It will download ok then during installation the phone will reboot. I tried it 4 or 5 times. Any ideas?

My SetCPU is working, did you do detect device? I keep mine at 600 and everything is smooth for me.

What sort of implications does this entail?

That's a good question... also... what was it based off before?

We just used cm 6.1.2 instead of cm 6 as a base. Just means a few files will be updated

Thanks for the information. I'm not very versed in the inner-workings of ROM construction - Could this have any bearing on battery life? I really want to be using MIUI, but every time I try, my battery life has been terrible. I keep quietly hoping that by some miracle, I will be able to have MIUI working and lasting more than the short few hours it presently can.

It might have an effect on battery life but I'm not sure. Battery life seems to differ between phones. You can also recalibrate your battery to get some more life out of it

Oh, I've recalibrated, rekerneled, refunked, and reflashed enough to rule any of that other stuff out. For some reason, MIUI just eats my phone alive. The only thing 'out of the ordinary' I do is use Launcher Pro in lieu of the default MIUI launcher.
