Thanks man. It kind of stinks that on relock you have to tap again... but the rom runs well enough that I won't complain to much.

man, when are they going to fix the issues that have persisted since the 11.17 build. (maybe before...or actually...the issue didnt exist on the infant versions of MIUI, but they seemed to have broken things adding different features, while ignoring mms etc)

Its like a copy and paste every week with the known issues. grrrr..Id like to go back to MIUI. I like it better than GB.

Another release but the same bugs still carry over. Are you sure this release is different then the previous one? I love this ROM but the video mms is a snag otherwise good work.

I am under the assumption that the 2.2 builds from here will only support minor bug fixes and changes and most of the focus will be on the GB based builds. I am actually surprised that they are still supporting/making the 2.2 stuff at all

On the long list of things that need to be done with this rom, I assume the developers have decided that other issues are more important than the video mms and facebook sync. I would tend to agree with them because I don't send video mms. Facebook syncing all contacts isn't too bad because you can set the contact app to only show contacts with phone numbers.

I would much rather see the new lockscreen get some more work done on it as well as more devices moved to gb before those 2 (small to me) bugs get fixed.

Either way, griping in this forum in all probability has zero impact on the Chinese devs. I don't imagine they frequent this forum and I don't believe many (if any) of the devs here interact with them. You are better off going to their forums and griping there. Just make sure you learn Chinese first.

i feel like im beating a dead horse by asking but are sms issues fixed in this update? anyone still experiencing problems receiving texts? i havent used miui for the past builds mainly because of this issue. i could care less about mms issues or facebook sync but text messages are a necessity.

Restarting when downloading apps

Each time i try and download a app from the market my phone keeps restarting since i uploaded this latest miui. Its been working great except for that.

Greetings Bama,

I just want to report that this build is running super smooth and sharp. All my apps downloaded from the Market in record time. All that I use is in fabulous working order. I think this is the best yet; they’ve been getting better all along.

I flashed it via Raidzero’s RZrecovery using the “Wipe All” feature, which only leaves the recovery on the phone, and I got a clean pristine install. In fact I’ve flashed the last five Miui builds I installed via his recovery, all with the same result. People who are experiencing excessive bugs that seem to result from less than clean installs should try using RZrecovery and its “Wipe All” feature.

I came across this tutorial about wiping prior to installing roms. Those who aren’t convinced of the value of wiping should read it. The information is correct (just remember the special apps restore process noted in the O.P., which is somewhat different from other roms):

I’m running it with Raidzero’s LV250-1100-kernel clocked at 1100 and it’s incredibly crisp and snappy.
