One day hundreds of years from now future civilizations will unearth our Android phones and iPhones. The images they see will baffle them. How will they decipher all the cute images contained within our text messages? Our modern day hieroglyphics can really help us to get our message across. A recent update to iOS includes many new emojis which are not compatible with Android. This means that your friends may be sending you emojis that aren't coming through on your device. This could be confusing. A mean statement with a smiley emoji can be seen as a joke, but if that smiley doesn't make it through all you see is a mean statement!
Google's Sr Vice President Hiroshi Lockheimer would like to eradicate this problem. He recently tweeted that Google is currently working on new emojis. Who knows when they will arrive, but they should be here soon.
